MND patient app for Saint Michael's Hospice
Helping people with terminal illness live well with a personal iPad app

Saint Michaels exists to help people with a terminal illness live and die well with specialist care, comfort and support, free of charge, to patients and their families.
Motor neurone disease is a life-limiting, rapidly-progressing disease that affects the brain and spinal cord. It has devastating life-changing effects on life and patients. Treatment aims to ease the symptoms as much as possible.
On diagnosis, patients are given a wealth of information about their care, some of which isn’t relevant for their current symptoms and can be scary to patients early on the MND journey. Saint Michaels asked us to help them design and build an iPad app that assisted patients throughout their home journey until they’re ready to reside at the hospice. To give them timely and relevant information, advice, exercises and communication with their healthcare team.
The brief: Help us build an app that gives comfort and help to MND patients at home.
